Description
Latexo Independent School District is soliciting proposals for Category 1 leased lit fiber Internet access and data transmission services. The requested capacity is between 1 Gbps and 5 Gbps, with one service quantity, and the associated request includes installation and initial configuration. The vendor attachment identifies three-year and five-year contract terms and bandwidth options from 1 Gbps through 5 Gbps, with fields for additional costs, voluntary extensions, special construction, and non-recurring charges. Proposals must be submitted electronically through the associated RFP system after vendor registration. Providers must have a valid or temporary SPIN and comply with the Texas Education Agency Financial Accountability Guidelines, Module 5: Purchasing. Questions must be submitted through the RFP system; responses will be posted as addenda. Equivalent, higher- or lower-quantity, better, or more cost-effective services may be considered, and eligible installation costs may be paid over four years.
