Description
Sandy City is soliciting bids for Type C sodium chloride winter roadway salt for the 2026–2027 winter snow season, covering November 1, 2026, through April 1, 2027. The estimated seasonal quantity is approximately 3,500 to 7,500 tons, depending on storm conditions. Orders will be placed as needed, complete quantities ordered must be delivered, and partial orders will not be accepted. The successful vendor must provide delivery to the Sandy City Public Works Salt Shed Building after each order and state projected delivery times. Delivery time is an important award factor alongside price, product quality, and references. The specifications are non-restrictive, and approved equals will be considered. The agreement is for one year, with options for two additional one-year renewals by mutual agreement. Addenda must be acknowledged in the proposal response.
