Description
The City seeks a qualified consultant to provide Phase I engineering services for a multi-use path along Wood Dale Road, connecting Oakbrook Elementary School and the Wood Dale Metra Station. The project includes replacing the existing sidewalk on the road’s west side, addressing drainage issues near the southern project limits, and improving ADA infrastructure. The initial scope includes fact-finding, necessary surveys, concept-level plans, and cost estimates; future grant application and grant management services may also be included. Qualifications submissions must describe the firm’s background and relevant projects from the past eight years, in-house services and equipment or programs, proposed project team, project approach, IDOT prequalification status, conflict-of-interest disclosure, and any proposed subconsultants. Pricing or fees must not be included. The City will evaluate qualifications and negotiate scope and fee with the highest-ranked firm; no interviews are planned at this time.
