Description
The project involves selectively demolishing portions of an existing concrete structure and renovating a tank at the pump station. Work includes constructing a new concrete pad, effluent channel and splash walls; installing a stainless-steel manual bar screen, new piping and a plug valve connecting the channel to an existing manhole; and extending pavement to meet the new pad. The contractor must also install a hose box and reel to support slab cleaning and complete associated excavation, site restoration, testing and related construction work. The solicitation requires a bid form and bid security with the proposal. It also requires a proposed-subcontractors form, bidder qualifications information, and three certifications. The successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds and insurance certificates upon contract execution; these are post-award requirements.
