Description
Jackson County School System is requesting proposals for leased lit fiber wide area network services connecting its school and administrative locations. The requested service is standalone data transmission with estimated quantities of 22 circuits and bandwidth ranging from 10 Gbps to 50 Gbps. Installation and initial configuration are required, and quantities may increase or decrease over time. The district may consider a one-year contract with four voluntary one-year extensions, with flexibility to add or remove sites and adjust bandwidth. Questions are due October 20, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time, and bids are due November 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Bids and questions must be sent by email, and proposals must be submitted in PDF format. The service period is July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2028, subject to any awarded extensions.
