Description
Elgin Independent School District is soliciting proposals for a fully managed leased lit-fiber internet access solution with bandwidth options of 10, 15, 20, and 25 Gbps. The service will terminate at the Elgin Data Center demarcation point and support sharing across district locations. Proposals must include installation, activation, initial configuration, maintenance, and technical support, with eligible special-construction charges optionally structured for installment payments over up to four years. The district is also requesting pole attachment fees for at least 81 poles on its existing fiber WAN connecting the data center and district entities. The district is interested in three- and five-year contract terms, voluntary extensions, bandwidth scalability during the contract term, and separate identification of eligible and non-eligible costs. Vendors must complete the attached “Elgin_2027_C1 Vendor attachment” and submit pricing through the designated electronic RFP system.
