Description
The City of Jackson’s Office of Housing and Community Development is soliciting qualifications from general contractors to establish an approved contractor list for housing construction, rehabilitation, and minor repair projects funded through CDBG and HOME programs. Work on screened and approved projects is focused on plumbing, electrical, and roofing systems. Contractors must be appropriately licensed and certified, and the City will evaluate experience, capacity, financial condition, costs, and relevant program compliance experience. Responses must include a signed letter of interest and supporting qualifications, licenses, insurance evidence, financial information, references, and conflict-of-interest disclosures. The solicitation requests one original and two copies in 12-point font, submitted as a hard copy. Selected contractors may later be invited to submit sealed bids for individual projects.
