Description
Burlington County is soliciting bids for construction of a complete playground project at Long Bridge Park. The scope includes demolition of existing play equipment and park features; earthwork; stormwater management; concrete walkways and trails; poured-in-place playground surfacing; play equipment and water-play features; a picnic pavilion; signage; landscaping, planting, irrigation, site furnishings, fencing, gates, and related park improvements. The plans identify inclusive swings, slides, climbing and play structures, musical equipment, water-play equipment, animal sculptures, and accessible amenities. The solicitation states that bid documents and forms must be downloaded and submitted in their original format, and that bids must be submitted electronically through the County's eProcurement system; email, fax, courier, mail, and in-person submissions are not accepted. A bid guarantee, consent of surety, insurance statement, public-works registration certificates, project-labor-agreement letter of assent, certifications, and other checklist items are required. The project uses State Green Acres Program funds, and suspended, debarred, or disqualified vendors are excluded. The work must begin within 14 days after the Notice to Proceed and be completed within 210 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The project also requires a 100 percent performance and payment bond after award, prevailing-wage compliance, specified insurance, and a two-year maintenance/warranty period.
