Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting 210 disposable combat trauma wraps, identified as NSN 6510-01-538-6292. Each unit is a 6-inch-by-60-inch plastic wrap on a folded cardboard tube, supplied with instructions in a zip-lock plastic bag, for use in controlling bleeding in extreme cold weather. The wrap must be held in place with a bandage. The solicitation requires commercial packaging and packing, medical marking, and delivery FOB destination within 20 days after acknowledgment of the order. The quoted source and part number must be identified, and alternate offers require a complete data package for evaluation. The item is not regulated by the FDA, and domestic-material restrictions may apply.
