Description
San Juan County Public Works seeks a contractor to remove approximately 792 feet of existing guardrail on Lopez Island and furnish and install precast concrete Type F traffic barriers, terminals, and transition sections. The work also includes replacing or repairing Type 31 beam guardrail and terminals at specified locations on Lopez, Orcas, and San Juan islands, along with mobilization between islands, traffic control, removal and disposal of damaged materials, and related hardware and minor post realignment. The estimated project cost is $285,000. The contract allows 15 working days, and all work must be physically complete by December 31, 2026. The successful contractor must provide payment and performance bonds for the full contract amount and maintain the specified liability insurance. No bid bond is required.
