Description
Clemson University seeks multiple suppliers for a five-year fixed-price contract providing supplemental tree maintenance and storm damage services when university resources are insufficient. Required work may include tree removal, tree pruning, stump grinding and removal, and other arboricultural tasks, performed in accordance with ANSI Z-133 safety standards and ANSI A-300 pruning standards. Contractors must be able to respond onsite within 24 hours for emergency work, maintain an ISA-certified arborist on staff, and provide all necessary labor, materials, tools, and equipment. Clemson may award to multiple responsive and responsible suppliers offering no more than $105 per man-hour; there is no guaranteed minimum purchase or future business. The contract will support storm-related backlogs and occasional routine maintenance throughout Clemson's operations in South Carolina. Crane services and expenses should not be included in pricing because they will be solicited separately when needed. Standard and approved overtime rates may be invoiced, with overtime limited to 1.5 times the standard rate.
