Description
The University of Texas at Arlington is soliciting bids for new theatre lighting equipment to upgrade older fixtures to energy- and cost-saving LED equipment and expand inventory so that three theatre spaces can be outfitted independently. The scope includes retrofit kits, LED PARs, LED battens, moving-head fixtures, ellipsoidal engines, relay modules, a lighting control console, and safety cables. No outside labor is involved; this is solely an equipment procurement. The solicitation requests specified equipment or approved equals, with quantities totaling 90 ETC Source 4WRD II retrofit kits, 42 additional retrofit kits, multiple ETC and Chauvet LED fixtures, 80 relay modules, two ETC Ion XE 20 lighting control consoles, and 100 safety cables, among other items. Bidders must submit pricing, delivery lead time, estimated delivery date, freight, other charges, and any proposed alternates on the bid form.
