Description
The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is soliciting a contractor to remove the existing short-span reinforced-concrete slab bridge along the southern portion of the Red Trail and construct a new HS-10-rated, pour-in-place reinforced-concrete slab bridge supported by a helical-pile foundation. The work includes demolition, concrete formwork, new bridge construction, four helical piles, regrading of the bridge approach, excavation, backfill, erosion and sedimentation controls, utility locating, and site restoration. This is a one-time public-works construction project subject to New York prevailing-wage requirements, contractor-registry requirements, and specified insurance coverage. The revised RFQ requests good-faith efforts to include MWBE and SDVOB vendors where subcontracting opportunities exist, with documentation retained for possible review. Quotes must be completed on the RFQ document and submitted electronically by email. Additional certifications are required for quotes of $15,000 or more.
