Description
The California Department of Transportation is seeking a contractor to provide dewatering well-water pump removal, installation, and repair services at various locations in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. The scope includes labor, tools, materials, parts, disposal, equipment, travel, and incidentals for repairing or replacing pumps, motors, motor-control equipment, electric flow meters, pressure gauges, well-monitoring equipment, data-logging and remote-access equipment, and related water-treatment-plant components. The work includes pump and electrical-system diagnosis and repair, well cleaning by water-jet treatment and purging, flow-meter replacement and calibration, hydraulic-cylinder replacement, structural and mechanical repairs, shop repairs, and installation of specified replacement equipment. The total bid proposal may not exceed $484,000.00. The agreement is estimated to run from December 1, 2026, or Caltrans approval, whichever is later, through November 30, 2029, and work will be issued through service requests.
