Description
The Louisville and Jefferson County Metropolitan Sewer District is soliciting bids for the as-needed supply and delivery of ultra-low sulfur non-road diesel fuel to stationary and portable generator fuel tanks and a 330-gallon tank at the Morris Forman Water Quality Treatment Center. Estimated usage is approximately 20,000 gallons for evaluation purposes only and does not guarantee a minimum or maximum purchase quantity. Deliveries must meet current EPA ULSD requirements and ASTM D975 Grade No. 2-D S15 specifications, including sulfur content of no more than 15 parts per million, a minimum cetane index of 40, fuel stabilizer, and a minimum one-year shelf life. The contractor must provide standard deliveries within 48 hours and emergency deliveries within four hours of notification, along with all personnel, equipment, hoses, pumps, meters, and materials required for delivery. Drivers must hold valid commercial driver's licenses and applicable endorsements. The contractor must also address spill prevention, emergency response, packing slips, fuel quality documentation, and delivery tracking. The contract is for one year from award, with up to four successive 12-month renewals. The bid package requires a digitally submitted proposal with pricing, qualifications, safety documentation, references, company information, and specified affidavits and certifications.
