Description
The project requires remediation of a landslide threatening a home and the surrounding property. Work includes stabilizing the highwall with shotcrete facing, rockfall mesh, and rock bolting; upgrading drainage with an under-road pipe, rehabilitated rock ditch, and subdrain; replacing a carport and concrete pad; relocating utility lines and structures in accordance with applicable specifications; and repaving the access road as necessary. The project also includes managing dirt and rock debris, burning project trees at the designated waste area, filling and grading waste to promote positive drainage, and revegetating the area to applicable abandoned-mine-land specifications. The expected disturbance area is approximately 2.6 acres within a 9-acre waste area. The stated duration is 90 calendar days after substantial completion through final completion.
