Description
The U.S. Air Force seeks MH-139A nickel-cadmium battery maintenance services, including storage, servicing, inspection, fluid leveling, discharging, charging, testing, documentation, and custody-transfer records for up to ten sets of Government-owned helicopter batteries. The contractor must maintain at least two batteries in fully serviced, charged, and pickup-ready condition within 30 minutes of notification, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, while keeping the remaining batteries in standby storage. Performance must follow original equipment manufacturer specifications and applicable Air Force technical orders. The contractor must provide a facility in or near Cheyenne, Wyoming, trained and certified Ni-Cad battery-maintenance personnel, required equipment and supplies, AFTO and Department of Defense maintenance documentation, quality control, security and operational-security compliance, and at least one year of Ni-Cad battery-maintenance experience. This is a notice of intent for a proposed sole-source, firm-fixed-price award and is not a solicitation or request for proposal or quotation.
