Description
The City of Memphis is conducting a Request for Information regarding uniforms and uniform accessories for its fire and police divisions. The contemplated program includes inventory management, individual and bulk ordering, shipping and tracking, an onsite uniform store, sizing and fitting, alterations, repairs, embroidery, screen printing, heat pressing, patches, and customer support. The City is also seeking information about a secure web-based ordering and fulfillment system with employee allowances, eligibility controls, inventory and shipment tracking, reporting, invoicing, hosting, implementation, training, maintenance, and technical support. Respondents should describe their qualifications, experience with three to five similar clients, references, key personnel, organizational structure, delivery and turnaround capabilities, bulk-order capacity, warranties, quality controls, and proposed responses to the City's detailed operational and technical questions. This is an information-gathering exercise only; it will not result in an award or contract.
