Saint Louis County Schools ISD 2142 is requesting proposals for as-needed snow removal services when snowfall exceeds two inches. Work includes plowing and removing snow from sidewalks, parking lots, and driveways; placing snow to prevent meltwater from draining onto cleared surfaces and refreezing; and applying salt or sand. Snow removal must be completed before 6:00 a.m. The initial contract term is one season, with the district retaining the option to renew annually. Proposers must hold appropriate state and county business licenses, have suitable equipment, provide hourly operator and equipment rates, and submit three references. The selected contractor will be responsible for damage to district property caused during snow removal and must provide a W-9 and a certificate of liability insurance with at least $1,000,000 in coverage naming ISD 2142 as an additional insured.
