Description
Edmonton Catholic Schools is seeking proposals from qualified playground maintenance and inspection companies under a Request Standing Offer for recurring services at approximately 30 school playgrounds in Edmonton. The scope includes monthly inspections by certified playground inspectors, compliance testing against CAN/CSA Z614:20, written reports documenting deficiencies and hazards, authorized repairs or replacement of non-compliant equipment, minor maintenance, protective-surfacing maintenance, annual maintenance programs and audits, and emergency response to serious hazards. The solicitation requires proposal materials, pricing, insurance and workers’ compensation documentation, health and safety credentials, and signed acceptance and safety-manual forms. Addendum 01 confirms that SECOR is acceptable and clarifies that only the ECSD-owned playgrounds at St. Maria Goretti and St. Mary are within scope; nearby City of Edmonton or church playgrounds are excluded. The standing-offer term is one year from award with one possible one-year renewal.
