Description
Beaufort County seeks qualification statements from consulting firms to provide county-wide, as-needed site and civil engineering services under work orders or task orders. The scope may include surveys; conceptual designs and cost estimates; subsurface utility engineering; utility coordination; hydrology and hydraulic analysis; stormwater, erosion-control, and roadway plans; traffic studies and maintenance-of-traffic plans; structural and geotechnical design; permitting; lighting, landscape, irrigation, gateway, and wayfinding design; bicycle and pedestrian facilities; value engineering; and construction support and shop-drawing review. The County intends to select up to three firms for one-year contracts renewable for two additional one-year periods. The maximum annual contract total for each selected consultant is $1,000,000. Qualifications are evaluated on experience, quality control, familiarity with County projects and procedures, past performance, and staff availability. A prime firm may participate as a subconsultant on another team only when that role does not exceed 10% of the contract value.
