Description
Memorial Health System is soliciting sealed bids with qualification statements for a multiple-prime construction project involving nuclear medicine camera installations and related renovations at Memorial Hospital Gulfport and Memorial Hospital Biloxi. The work is divided into three prime contract bid packages covering demolition, renovation, finishes, coordination, structural work, plumbing, fire protection, mechanical systems, electrical systems, low-voltage systems, and related work shown in the drawings and project manual. Work will occur in occupied hospital areas and requires strict infection-control procedures, temporary partitions, negative-air-pressure systems, construction-noise abatement, flexible scheduling, and disruption management. Bidders must demonstrate healthcare-environment experience within the last five years, including infection-control experience. Bid security is required with the bid, and successful bidders must provide performance and payment bonds and comply with Mississippi Certificate of Responsibility requirements. A $1,000-per-calendar-day liquidated-damages provision applies.
