Lauderdale County is seeking proposals from qualified firms or developers for the opportunity to purchase and develop one or more of three surplus properties in Meridian, Mississippi: the former Veterans Service Office at 1827 23rd Avenue, the Ulmer Building at 500 20th Avenue, and the Hooper Building at 1917 6th Street. Proposals must describe the intended use, development timeline, estimated investment in improvements, anticipated job creation, and proposed purchase price. Respondents must submit the completed county forms, including the Vendor Data Form, Professional Reference Sheet, acknowledgment and certification materials, Form W-9, and the signed Mississippi Department of Archives and History acknowledgment for the Ulmer Building if applicable. The county requires at least three professional references and permits proposals covering one or all three properties. Submissions may be made electronically through Central Bidding or by sealed physical delivery; email and fax submissions are not accepted.
