Description
The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is conducting market research for an estimated 38 kits of flow control valve, part number 90E8412-001, NSN 4820-01-672-2821, for Virginia-class submarines. This is a Sources Sought notice, not a solicitation; the agency is assessing supplier capability and may use the responses to determine its procurement approach. Small-business set-aside or full-and-open competition and multiple awards are possible. Interested parties are asked to provide organization and ownership information and a tailored capability statement with supporting documentation. Responses should address relevant organizational and staff capabilities; anticipated significant subcontracting or teaming should include the proposed administrative and management structure. The notice also describes a separate Source Approval Request process using a DoDSafe link; requests for that link must be emailed with the CAGE code, NSN, and the email address for receiving the link.
