Description
The City seeks a contractor to replace the aging North Recycle Pump Station and associated drainage and sewer infrastructure. Work includes demolition and construction of wet wells, valve and meter vaults; furnishing and installing pumps, piping, valves, instrumentation, and electrical equipment; evaluating and connecting to the existing force main; replacing gravity sewer pipe and manholes; rehabilitating sewer manholes; and restoring pavement, curbing, and seeded areas. The project allows 425 days for substantial completion and 455 days for final completion. Bids must include a bid bond equal to 5% of the bid. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the bid. Bidders must hold the required Tennessee contractor's license. Only paper bids are accepted; supplier-portal responses will not be accepted.
