Description
The Massachusetts Port Authority is soliciting a contractor for non-building surface and immediate subsurface repairs to park infrastructure. Work will primarily occur at Piers Park and may also occur at other authority-maintained parks in East Boston, including Bremen Street Park. The scope may include removal and re-leveling of pavers, sinkhole repair, paving, seawall breach repair, playground repairs, and miscellaneous repairs requested by the authority. The estimated contract cost is $2,950,000. A 5% bid deposit is required, and the successful bidder must provide 100% performance and labor-and-materials payment bonds. The contractor must maintain combined bodily injury and property damage liability insurance of $2,000,000, comply with applicable prevailing-wage requirements, and meet the authority's affirmative-action and non-discrimination requirements. No filed sub-bids are required.
