Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking 291 each of additive manufacturing printer filament, NSN 9330-01-696-5442, under purchase request 7018161796. The item must conform to the referenced technical data and quality requirements, with delivery in 43 days after award, FOB origin, and destination inspection and acceptance. The filament and spool must be packaged in a heat-seam-sealed vapor bag with desiccant to prevent moisture absorption. Packaging, palletization, marking, and shipment must comply with the specified DLA and military standards, including MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129. The solicitation states that additive-manufactured items are not eligible for award unless specifically authorized, and the nonmanufacturer rule is not waived.
