Description
Riverland Community College's Carpentry Program is seeking proposals for materials supporting construction of a new two-unit duplex residence with unfinished basements at 1104 and 1106 24th Avenue N.W., Austin, Minnesota. The requested materials include exterior vinyl siding, Hayfield low-E argon-filled windows and patio doors, architectural shingles and ridge vent, floor systems, lumber and sheathing, insulation, exterior and interior doors, house wrap, drywall, hardware, garage doors and openers, trim, fasteners, and related construction materials. The material list includes estimated quantities and a $9,000 miscellaneous hardware allowance. Respondents must provide unit pricing for each line item, with pricing organized across the specified product categories and separate lump-sum delivery pricing. The solicitation also requests a work plan addressing sourcing, inventory, delivery logistics, quality assurance, substitutions, lead times, technical support, warranties, value-added educational support, sustainability, and delivery/returns procedures. Equivalent products may be proposed if they meet or exceed the stated requirements. The anticipated budget is $160,000 per year, and the contract term is nine months.
