Description
The Navy seeks completion of the renewal of the USS Hampton’s emergency diesel generator, specifically final engine-to-generator connection, alignment support, engine run-in and break-in, and operational retesting. The contractor must use an engine analyzer and make adjustments to balance the cylinders to the applicable specifications. The work is solicited under Basic Ordering Agreement N64498-26-G-1004 with Fairbanks Morse, LLC. The contractor must also provide project planning, process-control documentation, progress reporting, a personnel roster, and a final technical report, along with required labor, materials, equipment, tools, and technical expertise. The statement of work describes a firm-fixed-price task order and a performance period running from award through January 2028; the current estimated work start is January 2027.
