Description
Spring Branch Independent School District is soliciting proposals for wired, wireless, and internet services and related network infrastructure. The scope includes proposed access, distribution, core, and internet equipment; Aruba Central management; required or recommended licensing and support; router recommendations; structured cabling and infrastructure components; and associated installation and deployment services. Vendors may submit for the network solution, structured cabling and infrastructure components, or both, and the district may make one or more awards. Minimum requirements include a five-year manufacturer warranty and four-hour return-material-authorization service for internet equipment, with equivalent proposed solutions permitted where stated. The solicitation package includes site information, design and construction standards, E-Rate terms, contract documents, insurance and compliance forms, proposer information, and a reference questionnaire. Five references are expected. Internet services performed off campus are exempt from the pre-service affidavit; subcontractors who may work on campus require the applicable background-check documentation. The solicitation states that required signatures must be original and in ink, and no bid bond is required.
