Description

The Maine Department of Administrative and Financial Services, Bureau of General Services, and Maine Judicial Branch seek an owner's representative for the Somerset County Judicial Center project. The project includes site development, renovation of the existing courthouse, and construction of a substantial addition. The construction budget is approximately $34.2 million, with an overall project budget not to exceed $45 million; construction is expected to take approximately 18 months. The owner's representative will advise the owner on design and construction, support budget and schedule control, attend construction meetings, review project documents and contractor payment applications, monitor quality and workmanship, document field changes, oversee owner testing, participate in inspections, and assist with project closeout. Firms must submit a Letter of Interest and Statement of Qualifications addressing criteria A through G, including qualifications, cost control, relevant and similar project experience, team qualifications, workload, and business references. Selection is qualification-based; fees are not discussed at interviews and will be negotiated with the highest-ranked firm.
