Description
Atlantic County is establishing a list of participating vendors to furnish and deliver approximately 300–400 categories of perishable food items, including fruits, vegetables, beverages, dairy products, salads, baked goods, meats, nutritional supplements, and other food-service products. Vendors may quote on any or all items within the purchase groups. Purchase orders will be issued based on actual operational needs, with no guaranteed minimum delivery volume or dollar award. Highly perishable products must be delivered six times weekly, Monday through Saturday; other products require weekly delivery. Deliveries must maintain product integrity and HACCP standards, use refrigerated vehicles for refrigerated foods, meet specified delivery windows, and include invoices identifying the items, pack sizes, quantities, and unit prices. Vendors must be established distributors; vendors not already on the approved list must provide at least two recent food-service references with contact names and phone numbers. Required proposal materials include pricing and statutory certifications, a notarized Non-Collusion Affidavit, receipt of addenda, and proof of insurance.
