The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Service is seeking one new ribbon or paddle blender for fish nutrition research. The required equipment is a stainless-steel blender with approximately 52-gallon capacity, a 3-horsepower, 230/460-volt, three-phase motor, a minimum agitator speed of 50 RPM at 60 Hz, and specified dimensional limits. Wetted, interior, and exterior parts must be Type 304 stainless steel, with FDA-compliant gasket and sealing materials, OSHA-compliant guards, a manually operated dust-tight stainless-steel discharge valve, and a keypad providing start/stop, speed control, and load-related digital displays. The contractor must provide one new approved unit, meet delivery within 120 days after receipt of order, and deliver FOB destination. Offers must include pricing for the complete line item, information demonstrating compliance with the specifications and delivery schedule, and any explanation of deviations. Products must have documented traceability to the original equipment manufacturer or an authorized distributor, along with applicable manufacturer and contractor certificates of conformance. The acquisition is a total small-business set-aside and is expected to result in one firm-fixed-price award.
