Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting a firm-fixed-price purchase order for one new heavy-duty industrial arcuate box stitcher, brand name or equal to the DeLuxe Stitcher S5PO-45/S5PO-AST. The machine must feed, form, and drive .103-inch by .023-inch arcuate stitching wire; include the powered stitching head, wire-feed and forming components, mounting hardware, controls, guarding, and an industrial-duty motor; and operate with 208–230 VAC, 60 Hz, three-phase electrical service. The equipment must be new and include operating, maintenance, parts, safety, and technical documentation and the manufacturer's standard commercial warranty. The contractor must provide delivery, on-site uncrating, installation, setup, calibration, operational testing, commissioning, and demonstration of safe operation. Quotations must identify the manufacturer and exact model offered and include a completed schedule of services plus descriptive literature or technical documentation demonstrating compliance with every salient characteristic, including dimensions, weight, motor and electrical specifications, wire capability, installation requirements, warranty, and any required site modifications. The acquisition is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside and will be evaluated primarily on technical acceptability and lowest overall price.
