Description
The City of Pocahontas, Iowa, is selling its former Fire Department rescue truck, a 2002 Freightliner FL70 with 9,186 miles, a six-cylinder diesel engine, PTO generator, four scene lights, four airpack holders in the seats, a cascade system without tanks, and extensive shelf storage. The vehicle is offered as-is and where-is, without warranties or guarantees, and the successful bidder is responsible for inspection, removal, transportation, title transfer, registration, taxes, and applicable fees. Sealed bids must be submitted using the City's sealed bid form. After the sealed bids are opened, timely qualifying bidders who are present may participate in open bidding. Full payment is required before title transfer and vehicle removal, and the sale remains subject to City Council approval.
