Description
The Department of State plans to solicit medical insurance services for approximately 200 locally employed staff and 805 eligible dependents at the U.S. Mission in Sierra Leone. These quantities are estimates. The anticipated contract has a 12-month base period and four one-year option periods. This is a pre-solicitation notice, and the solicitation is not yet ready for issuance. The synopsis anticipates a December 28, 2026 closing date but states that this is not firm and that the actual deadline will be provided in the RFP. Proposals are expected to have administrative, price, and technical volumes. Local offerors may submit by email or physical delivery; offerors based outside Sierra Leone must submit by email. The contract is expected to be firm-fixed-price with economic price adjustment, and award is planned to the lowest-priced technically acceptable responsible service provider.
