Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award one firm-fixed-price, requirements-type contract for sodium bicarbonate injection, specifically 84 mg/mL in 50 mL vials, with an estimated annual usage of 65,587 bottles. The products will support VA, Department of Defense, Bureau of Prisons, Indian Health Service, and Federal Health Care Center pharmaceutical distribution programs. The procurement is restricted to products manufactured in the United States. Offerors must provide the exact product name appearing on the label and a unique National Drug Code (NDC) number. The contractor's label must be the only label on the product, and packaging must be compatible with automated dispensing systems, including Baxter ATC Canisters and Opti-fill.
