Description
The U.S. Navy is seeking a firm-fixed-price contractor to repair or refurbish compressor units under an Advanced Equipment Repair Program sole-source requirement. The contractor must inspect and, where necessary, refurbish the units in accordance with specified drawings, technical data, and SUBMEPP repair instructions. The repair price must include receipt and complete repair of material that may be incomplete, damaged, worn, or missing parts, as well as Commercial Asset Visibility reporting and required packaging. Offerors must provide a full-repair price, the cost of new or estimated replacement cost, teardown and evaluation rate, proposed repair turnaround time, throughput constraints, and induction expiration date. The requested repair turnaround time is 183 days, measured from physical receipt of the asset at the contractor's facility through government acceptance. Non-OEM offerors must identify the OEM and provide a signed OEM authorization letter for repairs. The requirement also involves access to classified documents, with structure-borne noise testing identified as Confidential.
