Description
Wicomico County Recreation, Parks and Tourism is soliciting bids for fencing improvements at East Wicomico Little League Park. The project covers Fields 1 through 4 and requires removal and replacement of existing chain-link fence fabric, top rails, tension wire, gates, backstops, posts, and related components. Existing posts will generally be reused unless the specifications require replacement. The work includes a new 20-foot-high Field 1 home run fence and new straight, 30-foot-high backstops without hoods, including a 60-foot-wide backstop for Field 4 and 30-foot-wide backstops for Fields 1 through 3. Bidders must provide separate lump-sum pricing for two equivalent scope options: traditional galvanized fencing and black vinyl-coated fencing. Pricing must include labor, materials, equipment, excavation, installation, removal, disposal, and incidentals. The bid package requires a Maryland Certificate of Status, a bid bond when the total bid exceeds $100,000, completed principal and qualification affidavit forms, a non-collusion affidavit, three similar-project references completed within the last 12–36 months, responses to organizational questions, exceptions, confirmations, and authorized-signatory information. Electronic submissions may be uploaded in PDF, DOCX, or XLSX format through the e-Procurement Portal. Performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract price, are required after award when the contract exceeds $100,000; insurance certificates are required after award and before work begins.
