Description
The State Council of Higher Education for Virginia is soliciting professional services to expand equitable access to high-quality, credit-bearing internship and experiential learning opportunities for Virginia college students, with emphasis on first-generation, Pell-eligible, and underserved populations. The scope includes an institutional implementation plan; scalable training materials, toolkits, technical assistance, and implementation guidance; development of for-credit career discovery and experiential learning opportunities connected to authentic workplace challenges and industry projects; career-readiness, networking, mentorship, reflection, professional communication, responsible technology use, and social-capital resources; engagement with professionals, alumni, mentors, and industry partners; an evaluation and assessment framework; tools for tracking participation, engagement, and credit-bearing or paid internship outcomes; periodic progress updates; and a final summary report covering metrics, outcomes, lessons learned, sustainability recommendations, and future scaling guidance.
