Description
The program provides grants for projects that promote agricultural and horticultural fairs and increase public understanding of agriculture and domestic arts. Eligible activities include print, billboard, radio, local television, digital, email, and social media marketing; fair-branded displays and signage; and educational projects for the general public. Grant funds may support related costs such as design, advertising placement, contractor services, marketing campaigns, educational exhibit materials, and website improvements. Promotional merchandise, hardware and software, shipping, overhead, and costs incurred before January 1, 2027, are ineligible. Applicants must submit a completed Work Plan and Budget using the provided templates. The program has $550,000 in total funding, with awards of up to $11,000 per eligible applicant. Applicants must be eligible fair sponsors; organizations must register in the State Financial System, and not-for-profit applicants must also be prequalified there.
