Description
The City of Milwaukee is soliciting a contractor for Project No. 2, involving combined sewer main relay and combined sewer main lining. The work areas are East Erie Street, approximately 150 feet northwest of North Broadway to North Broadway, and East Menomonee Street, from North Jefferson Street to North Broadway. The solicitation includes a City of Milwaukee Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Compliance Plan that is required when the project includes an SBE requirement or when a proposer seeks SBE bonus points. A Socially-Responsible Contractors (SRC) Affidavit of Compliance is required only for bidders seeking the SRC bid incentive; it must document at least three qualifying employment-barrier-reduction programs and be signed and notarized.
