Description
The Natural Resources Conservation Service is seeking applications for cooperative agreements supporting restoration, stewardship, and assessment of Wetland Reserve Easements and Floodplain Easements. Eligible work may include topographic, hydrologic, and habitat surveys; engineering and vegetative restoration planning; hydraulic and hydrologic modeling; preparation of specifications and stamped engineering plans; construction-support activities; repair, maintenance, enhancement, and management planning; and onsite and offsite monitoring of easement conditions and compliance. Applicants may propose one, multiple, or all program components. Projects are expected to last four to five years, with anticipated work across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. Applications must include an eight-page project narrative, project abstract, federal application and budget forms, budget narrative, current and pending support, applicant contact information, applicable indirect-cost documentation, lobbying forms, and other applicable attachments. Profit is not an eligible project cost for for-profit applicants.
