Description
The City of Ithaca Department of Public Works, Division of Water & Sewer, is soliciting bids for the sale and delivery of one new Class V forklift. The forklift must be LP-gas powered with a UL Type "LP" rating, a 5,000-pound lifting capacity at a 24-inch load center, a maximum fork height of 189 inches, an overall lowered height of 84.5 inches, a three-stage mast, a travel speed of at least 10 mph, automatic transmission and fork leveling, a backup alarm, an amber LED strobe, and an active stability system with speed, weight, yaw and fork-height sensors. Bidders must submit an itemized written quote on company letterhead showing unit pricing and a total price, along with detailed specifications, manufacturer's literature and data demonstrating compliance. The bid package must include the completed Bidder's Qualification Statement, signed Waiver of Immunity Clause and Non-Collusive Bidding Certification. A certificate of liability insurance meeting the stated coverage requirements is also required. Delivery costs must be included, and the equipment must be delivered within the timeframe specified by the City. No DBE participation goal is required.
