Description
Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, managed by Fermi Forward Discovery Group, LLC, is soliciting firm-fixed-price proposals for cryogenic, non-reclosable rupture disks for the PIP-II accelerator's cryomodule helium relief system. The requirement includes 30 four-inch welded Inconel rupture disk cartridges with a 3.1 barg set pressure, three with a 1.75 barg set pressure, and 33 normally closed two-lead burst alert sensors. The disks must meet specified ASME Section VIII certification, cryogenic helium service, vacuum and leak-tightness requirements, flange and dimensional constraints, radiation tolerance, and labeling requirements. The selected subcontractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to manufacture, assemble, inspect, test, package, and deliver the products. The proposal must include technical compliance documentation, product literature and data sheets, drawings, materials information, leak-rate and burst-pressure information, exceptions, a detailed delivery schedule, relevant experience from the past five years, and pricing on the provided Request for Proposal Pricing Sheet. Delivery is required under DAP Incoterms 2020 for international shipments or FOB destination for domestic shipments. Compliance and certification forms, including the Subcontractor Annual Representations & Certifications and Proposal Certifications, must be submitted as separate documents.
