Description
Orangeburg County seeks construction of wastewater improvements serving Hidden Valley Lane, Essex Drive, and Springdale Drive. The base bid includes approximately 6,000 linear feet of 8-inch gravity wastewater line, approximately 550 linear feet of 4-inch force main, and a 100-GPM pump station, along with manholes, service connections, site work, grading, electrical work, and related appurtenances. A separate bid alternate covers additional gravity sewer improvements on Springdale Drive. The work includes furnishing and installing the materials and equipment needed to complete the system. Bidders must provide bid security equal to at least 5% of the bid and hold the required South Carolina and Orangeburg County licenses, including a South Carolina contractor license classification of WP, Group 4 or higher. The contract requires performance and payment bonds, each at least equal to the contract price, from the successful bidder.
