SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital intends to purchase patient smart beds and related products from Hill-Rom Company through Vizient Contract CE7561 under New York State's consortium purchasing authority, without a formal competitive process when justified by price. Vendors offering equivalent patient smart beds and related products may contact the hospital to discuss the procurement. The successful contractor must provide current New York State workers' compensation and disability forms and complete documents related to New York State Finance Law Sections 139-j and 139-k and the Public Officers Law. The hospital recommends completing the New York State Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire through the VendRep System.
