Description
Yorkville Public Library is soliciting bids for bundled Category 1 Internet access and transport using dedicated symmetric fiber, including a managed router. The requested service must provide a minimum of 1 Gbps and support upgrades up to 5 Gbps during the contract term, with pricing for each requested bandwidth tier and separate pricing for installation or configuration if required. Bids must identify eligible and ineligible services, taxes, surcharges, the vendor's valid 498 ID (SPIN), Lowest Corresponding Price, and agreement to support SPI or BEAR invoicing methods. The service is to be delivered to the library's main branch. The solicitation offers either a three-year or five-year term beginning July 1, 2027, with two voluntary 12-month extensions. Proposals are evaluated primarily on the cost of eligible services, followed by technical fit, relevant experience, E-Rate capability, and proximity of the vendor's service center.
