Description
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is soliciting a firm-fixed-price quote from a small-business concern to build ten Maximum/Minimum Temperature System (MMTS) plate kits to detailed drawings and specifications. The total requirement includes 130 top plates, 30 insulating plates, 30 solid plates, and 50 big-hole plates, with the insulating plates consisting of specified dash-1 and dash-2 configurations. The contractor must furnish labor, tools, facilities, materials, production, shipping, and related technical or administrative support. The requirement includes three first-article units for government testing, followed by seven additional approved units after first-article approval and notice to proceed. The contractor must provide injection-mold documentation, delivery planning, visual inspection certifications, inspection reports, packaging and bar-code markings, shipment records, and a warranty covering the injection molds for the purchase-order period. Quotes are evaluated on technical compliance, past performance, and price; offerors must provide two to three relevant past-performance references and delivery lead-time information.
