Naval Air Systems Command intends to award The Boeing Company a firm-fixed-price delivery order against existing Basic Ordering Agreement N0001926G1002 for 140 Audio Management System retrofit recurring A-kits supporting modernization of United States Navy F/A-18 and EA-18G communications suites. The requirement is for hardware delivery only, with a 12-month period of performance anticipated to begin in August 2027. The acquisition is being pursued on a sole-source basis because Boeing is identified as the designer, developer, manufacturer, and integrator of the F/A-18 aircraft and the only known firm with the required knowledge, experience, and technical expertise. No competitive solicitation will be issued. Potential subcontractors are directed to seek opportunities from Boeing's Small Business Liaison Officer. The notice is informational and does not obligate the Government to award a contract.
